This was probably the most challenging and interesting project up to this date. As the Engineering Manager, I had a big influence on the design and engineering of the product. As a Project manager, I have managed the project from the bid phase to the on-time delivery of the product. I gained a lot of experience and confidence in big-sized projects.

The bulk loading station is equipment placed on an offshore drilling platform, dedicated to load and unload various mediums too and from the platform. The main challenge was to design the 9 reel setup to fit in a dedicated, small space. Therefore, the two-level design was chosen.

A 5” high bend radius (5D bend) pipe with a swivel was designed as a solution for the industry problem - clogging the soft hose connection with powdery materials.

The whole unit was designed to be lifted as a single unit, certified according to various Norsok and other relevant standards.

The single lift solution made the installation of the unit a breeze!

As the project manager, I was responsible for the whole project, from the bid phase to the commissioned product. The project was developed and completed in a short time and delivered according to schedule. With the amazing engineering team, we were able to design and complete one-of-a-kind products in the offshore market.
